This project was a partnership with Habitat for Humanity and was split into two topics: AutoCAD and residential construction. They provided the class with multiple plans to put into AutoCAD. Then groups of 3 put together physical models and donated them to Habitat for Humanity to showcase their different options. Wood-frame, residential platform construction was shown and taught through models at 1/2"=1' scale. The following systems were shown with their relative elements: foundation, floor, roof, exterior and interior wall. There was a total of 50 different elements displayed.

Habitat for Humanity provided plans of the different options their clients can chose from. From there we transported them into AutoCAD. As an ungraded portion of the class we also did perspectives and elevations in AutoCAD.
